I am very sorry to report that there was a fire at one of my favorite eateries in Hollywood, Off Vine. I don’t have all the details but do know they are closed and will reopen in approximately three months. Housed in an historic Hollywood craftsman bungalow, I did a review on their weekend brunches for the Beachwood Voice several years ago. It was always a wonderful place for business lunches and romantic dinners, eating inside in the intimate dining room or outside on the patio. It was always a wonderful treat and I had planned to go there on Mother’s Day as I had for the past few years. I know you all join with me in wishing Greg and Richard the very best and hope that they get back on their feet and we get to enjoy their warm hospitality and delectable food (notably the souffles) very soon. And I’ll let all of you know when they reopen.
